The Superest

“In which illustrated heroes battle to the death, or at least to a really good punchline.”

About This Project

back

The Superest was an illustrated game that raged between myself and Matthew Sutter (and many wonderful guests) from 2006 to 2010, and included over 400 drawn heroes.

The rules of the game were simple. Player 1 draws a character with a power. Player 2 then draws a character whose power cancels the power of that previous character. Repeat.

Pictured above are some of my favorite heroes, but there's lots, lots more to see. Visit The Superest now, starting with The Unopposinator, the very first hero! Or just check one out at random, using the random hero button. It's your call. I'm not gonna get all worked up about this again.

If The Superest tickles your fancy, then you might also be interested in getting yourself a copy of The Superest book, featuring all new heroes in an all new battle!

About Kevin

Kevin Cornell spends his days in Philadelphia, drawing made-up things. You know… like a “dog driving a bus”, or a “talking can of beets”. If you ever see a talking can of beets, tell Kevin. He's been trying to figure that one out for years.

He has illustrated several books, websites, and comics, and has been doing it for quite a long time now. There's a ton more of his drawings on his old site. And even more on his old old site.

If you have a book you want Kevin to illustrate, please get in touch with his agent, the distinguished Steve Malk. If you wish to contact Kevin because he's behind on his payments and you need to know where to send the next toe… hmmm… send that to his agent, too.
