Birthday Street

“In which the depths of human depravity are explored through comics.”

Between 2010 and 2014, fellow Philadelphia illustrators and comic-auteurs Matt Sutter, Peter Dalkner, and myself collaborated on a webcomic called Birthday Street. Once a week, each of us drew a comic based on some aspect from the previous comic, breathing into life such classic characters as The World’s Greatest Hotted Dog, Charlie Bear the Talking Bear, and Beach Ranger Ferd. What? Doesn’t ring any bells? Action Guy? Sean Powers Jr.? Sean Powers Sr.? What in the world have you been reading!!?

Pictured here are some of my favorite contributions, but there’s lots more to see. Like… we musta made like… four-hundred comics. If you want to take a gander for yourself, I suggest picking up Birthday Street: The Unabridged Collection! The part of your brain that enjoys laughter will thank you for it. Though the rest of your body is going to be pissed as all hell.
